Cody Hosza is a multi-instrumentalist currently living in Brooklyn, New York. He has studied the saxophone with Dr. Paul Cohen and Billy Drewes, and in 2017, he graduated from the Aaron Copland School of music with a degree in saxophone performance.
In addition to academically pursuing the saxophone, he has been performing, writing, and recording the bass guitar and electric guitar with rock, metal, and hardcore bands for over 15 years. He currently plays bass with the bands Glassjaw, Thoughtcrimes, and Wreath of Tongues, as well as plays guitar for the band Atomic Life. He has toured internationally, and his eclectic performance background includes playing alongside bands such as Johnny Booth and Moon Tooth, premiering international works at the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival, and premiering visual sound art pieces (known as Color Music) by composer Michael Poast.
